In the middle of the night pt2

Ok so you get woken in the middle of the night, not sure why but fight or flight seems to have kicked in. Here’s what happened to me.

I woke up one night around 2am, busting for a pee but something had spooked me. I had woken up instantly but I had no idea by who or what but I was really spooked. The need to pee took over the fear I had so I got out of bed and walked to the door. My bedroom door was always open due to the children but as I got to it I hesitated, I don’t know why but the fear was back big time but so was my full bladder. I had the feeling that something was downstairs, I can’t explain why I felt this so I headed to the bathroom without looking down the stairs. Now usually I would be lazy and sit down for a pee but for some reason I stood up this time and obviously my back is too the door which was open. As I was peeing I had the strongest feeling someone or something was watching me. Eventually the urge to look was too much and at the bottom of the stairs to the right edge was the small white mist which appeared to be peeking around the wall at the bottom of the stairs, naturally this freaked me out big time and I stopped peeing and I knew I needed to leave. The urge was overpowering and as I turned to leave the bathroom the white mist was at the bottom of the stairs. Now don’t ask me why but I feared whatever it was big time, my heart was beating so fast. So I made my way back to the bedroom as quickly as I could. Now what was even stranger was as I entered the bed room and shut the door, in my minds eye, which was like watching tv, I could see this mass moving up the stairs extremely quickly and reaching the door as I closed it and stopped. It was like the door was a barrier it couldn’t cross, thankfully. I dived back into bed and I could see and feel the frustration coming from whatever was outside the door, I was so scared I can tell you, I lay there for some time trying to calm myself and come up with a rational explanation for what had just happened, surprisingly I couldn’t but thankfully it only happened the once.
