Paranormal and haunting investigations

So another incident in the building mentioned in a previous post at the barracks. I had been teaching upstairs all evening and when we finished I shut all the doors and turned off all the lights upstairs and checked “that” classroom downstairs where, I poked my head around the door to make sure it was empty, turned off the lights and when to shut the door. As it was nearly closed the door was yanked open, pulling the handle out of my hand. Suffice to say based on past experiences I shut the other doors and left!

For those of you who have seen the film but not read the book, The Haunted by Robert Curren. I strongly recommend you read it as the film does not do the Smurl family’s story justice.

So I was in a room at the army barracks which is from the Victorian era. I was at the back of the classroom watching 2 instructors doing a test. I saw something white moving in the corner of my left eye and saw the 2 flags on the window sill fluttering. there was no draft coming through the window and any movement in the room wouldn’t have caused them to move. Interesting 🤔

Demons! What’s your take on it? Are they real or a leftover from when the church used them to keep the masses in line. Is evil an entity or an energy? How do we decide?

With an ever changing world and the exposure from social media do people still believe in demons, possessions etc. How do we decide what is a mental health issue and what is pure evil? What’s the criteria? Does the church still carry out exorcism anymore?
